Website of Mumbai University Crashed During Online Admissions
Online admission in Mumbai university stop on 3rd June, 2 013 (Monday), while the site crashed. The website did not respond to the any clicks by candidates who wanted to sign up for the pre-admission registration.
Mumbai university's authorities said this is the first time when application forms for admission have been made available online on the university website. And the 'Pre-Admission Online Registration' facility give a automatic generated application form, which was submitted in the colleges. On Monday, The site crashed. Student said that the homepage of the university website couldn't open.
In evening the site was back but, still the registration process was not working. Some students said that the website did not load for several hours in the afternoon, and when the try to upload the Photograph and Signatures on the website, it took an hour to upload. some students said after register you have to re-confirm the details. but due to server down they were unable to confirm the information.
