Getting admission in Delhi university through sports quota is simpler
If you a school level athlete or a state level cricketer,
then getting admission in Delhi University is
gonna very simple this year. Ram
Dutt, Delhi University deputy registrar said that
the candidates now seeking admission on the basis of chess, archery and
shooting only need to qualify either in the 50 meter dash, standing
broad jump or 1,000 meter race or walk.
The last year, students who applied through sports quota, need to
give the difficult physical exercises,
irrespective of the particular sports they play. But now, they don't go through
these difficult physical exercises just qualify either in the
50 meter dash, standing broad jump or 1,000 meter race or
walk.
Ram Dutt, Delhi University deputy registrar also said
that, all the sports trials will also be video-graphed by all the colleges
in order to ensure transparency. And these sports trials will be held in
different colleges and candidates qualifying the fitness test would be issued
certificates that would be accepted by all the colleges. And may be they
started after the first cut-off list, which scheduled to announce on 26, June,
