Getting admission in Delhi university through sports quota is simpler

If you a school level athlete or a state level cricketer, then getting admission in Delhi University is gonna very simple this year. Ram Dutt, Delhi University deputy registrar said that the candidates now seeking admission on the basis of chess, archery and shooting only need to qualify either in the 50 meter dash, standing broad jump or 1,000 meter race or walk. 

The last year, students who applied through sports quota, need to give the difficult physical exercises, irrespective of the particular sports they play. But now, they don't go through these difficult physical exercises just qualify either in the 50 meter dash, standing broad jump or 1,000 meter race or walk.

Ram Dutt, Delhi University deputy registrar also said that, all the sports trials will also be video-graphed by all the colleges in order to ensure transparency. And these sports trials will be held in different colleges and candidates qualifying the fitness test would be issued certificates that would be accepted by all the colleges. And may be they started after the first cut-off list, which scheduled to announce on 26, June, 2013. 

And if we talk about the reservation of that who have won recognition in a range of sports activities throughout the country, is 5% seats in all the respective courses.
