COMEDK Results are out and Karnataka are on top of the list of toppers

The Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka (COMEDK) examination results were announced on Tuesday. And this year top 10 rank holders were from Karnataka, in engineering stream. In medical stream and dental stream three out of the top ten rank holders were also from Karnataka.

A student of National Public School, Abhijeet Shenoi, from Indiranagar is a topper in engineering stream said,” I mostly prepared for the Joint Entrance Exam which helped me score an edge during the COMEDK.”

Neeli Devee Krishna Sashidhar from Vijaywada in Andhra Pradesh, is medical stream topper said she was expected to top on the result, this year.

If we talk about the numbers of students who appeared in this exam, this year, 82,262 candidates appeared for the examinations, an increase of 5,000 compared to last year 2012.

It is a good news that all engineering stream students qualify to take part in counseling. But, in medical stream only 41% students who were appeared in this exam, are qualified to take part in counseling.
